Coming by car from Antwerp, Brussels, Kortrijk:
To reach Minerva Boat Company by car you need to take the Ghent centre exit (E17).
First take the rightmost lane and drive right downwards next to the bridge.
When the lanes merge, take the leftmost lane.
At the traffic lights, turn left onto St.-Lievenslaan (inner ring towards Eeklo).
Follow this as far as the Citadellaan.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn diagonally right into Charles De Kerchovelaan.
Follow this and after the first traffic lights, turn onto Yzerlaan.
Then drive over the water.
Follow Godshuizenlaan (inner ring towards Eeklo R40).
Attention: Minerva Boat Company is in the low-emission zone!

If this is not the case, you can park on the Ghent ring road (Godshuizenlaan and Martelaarslaan) or across the ring road (this is then a 5 to 10 minute walk).
If you are allowed in the LEZ zone, at the traffic lights, turn right at Bijlokehof (the intersection with Groot-Britslaan-Louis Pasteurlaan).
Then take the first street on the right again (Jozef Kluyskensstraat).
Please note that if you miss the exit to Jozef Kluyskensstraat, you will have to drive on the Coupure Links away from Minerva Boat Company.
A parking space can usually be found in Jozef Kluyskensstraat, on the Albert Bartsoenkaai or in Apotheekstraat.
If you nevertheless want to drop off equipment or passengers at our location itself, then certainly do not cross the Hospitaalbrug, as this is prohibited in both directions. You then take the Coupure Links and follow this until you can cross the water via the Rozemarijnbrug, then turn right onto Coupure Rechts. You will find Minerva Boat Company at the end of the Coupure Rechts 2A.
Please note: there is only a limited number of parking spaces available at Coupure Rechts 2A. If you cannot park, you must follow the entire loop until you reach the ring road again. Bear in mind that this can take 10 minutes or longer if there is heavy traffic.
Coming by car from Ostend:
Take the Drongen / Ghent-West exit (E40) and follow Deinsesteenweg (N466) until you reach the Ringvaart.
Follow Drongensesteenweg until the traffic lights
Turn right onto Rooigemlaan.
Keep straight on – Einde Were.
Continue along A.Triestlaan.
Martelaarslaan.

By car during car-free Sunday:
During car-free Sundays, all roads remain accessible if you come from Antwerp, Brussels, Kortrijk, Ostend, etc. … see the other routes. From Bijlokehof it is not always certain that you can still get through. Usually there are barriers that are open so that cars that have to be in the area can still drive through. If you cannot continue, park the car nearby and continue by foot. The message is certainly to leave on time.
There are normally no restrictions regarding parking.
